Letter from Elder Morton, 03.23.09

Date: 03/23/09 02:33 pm
Subject: Yeahhhhhh!!

Hey yall,

So basically I sent the bomb letter and didn't save it and the computer went down and I had to switch computers to send this and my time is up so I'll make this short! I got your email and I am happy you are all going to sacrament, I pray for you all and pray that you keep your nose to the grind and never give up!

Hey Ma! I am so pumped about Semajs marriage! Send them my love, I'm sure China is an awesome woman! March 14th is awesome because thats close to my birthday! Now I have even more of an excuse to visit Semaj and my Bay Area crew! Yeah that would be awesome if you sent photos of the wedding and all.

Good news about Little Semaj, Man 9lbs 8 oz & 22 1/2 inches, he's gonna be a football player! I am in the process of writing Joyce because I have her address but I don't have the complete address of Semaj so I will send a letter in the same envelope to Semaj.
Love & Hello to everyone in Rocklin 2nd & Rocklin 6th.

Much Love,

Elder Morton

1st Letter From Elder Morton from Lima, Peru, 08.27.08

Hey Mom & Dad,
I have reached my mission home in Lima, Peru and the President and his wife are great!
The Elders are nice & my companion is a good guy from what I hear.
All of your packages made it to the mission home. When I get to my area I will see which ones came. I will write you to confirm. I may or may not email you today but if I can I will. So far so good, I am alive and well.
I am excited to teach the gospel to develop a stronger relationship of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. It will be hard but I knew that to begin with.
The most important thing is that I concentrate on becoming the best missionary that I can be, so that you all will be blessed spiritually, & temporally, as our faith is tested.
I love you guys and pray for you every day. I know no matter if we work hard with our eyes set on eternal salvation things will work out for the best.
Never give up!
Love,
Rob
