So much to do and so little time!

Subject: So much to do and so little time!

Hey yall!

About them releasing me a day later than I hoped is cool. I would have liked to be released the same day I get home but I am cool with being a missionary for another day! Thursday at 7pm is fine. I am happy to hear that Annette is back to the old Annette helping out and all.

I don’t know the airline I will be flying in on but I will let you know when I know. The information that you have is all that I have as of now and it’s correct. They will let you know in due time don’t worry, or if you want you can call the mission office and ask them.

About my first dinner, I don’t know what I want, be creative! I am looking forward to coming home too but I have two more weeks to work my butt off and then I can rest for a few days, after that it’s back to preparing my future and busting my butt to accomplish my dreams! I hope all is well at home as it sounds but get ready because I will bring the noise so watch out everybody!

It’s a really cool experience training a white boy because its like looking in the mirror and how I was two years ago. It’s a testimony to how much I really have changed and I can really say that I know that the church is true and that this is the Lord’s work. I have a testimony of the libro de Mormòn, or the book or Mormon......Whoops I am mixing Spanish and English again! I have to say that these have truly been two years that will define my life forever and I am happy that I made the decision to go on the mission and that I had so much help along the way.

Thank you guys for sticking in there and staying positive.

I love you all,
Elder Morton

1st Letter From Elder Morton from Lima, Peru, 08.27.08

Hey Mom & Dad,
I have reached my mission home in Lima, Peru and the President and his wife are great!
The Elders are nice & my companion is a good guy from what I hear.
All of your packages made it to the mission home. When I get to my area I will see which ones came. I will write you to confirm. I may or may not email you today but if I can I will. So far so good, I am alive and well.
I am excited to teach the gospel to develop a stronger relationship of Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. It will be hard but I knew that to begin with.
The most important thing is that I concentrate on becoming the best missionary that I can be, so that you all will be blessed spiritually, & temporally, as our faith is tested.
I love you guys and pray for you every day. I know no matter if we work hard with our eyes set on eternal salvation things will work out for the best.
Never give up!
Love,
Rob
